
The SCPS Lab (https://www.scpslab.org/) is a research lab that conducts fundamental research on the advancement of new technology and principles to handle challenges of critical cyber-physical systems. Our mission is to develop fully automated and intelligent monitoring and security solution to ensure reliable operation of the critical cyber-physical systems and industrial Internet of Things (IoT), including smart grids, oil and gas refinery, autonomous vehicles, and transportation systems. In SCPS Lab, we offer an inclusive work environment work with a diverse group of experienced researchers with different backgrounds, origins, genders, etc.!
We are always looking for motivated and enthusiastic researchers with a strong background in machine learning (ML), artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, smart grids analysis and cyber-physical system modelling.

Postdoctoral Fellowship in Auditable and Explainable Cyber Threat Detection and Mitigation
The SCPS Lab is hiring for a Postdoctoral Position focused on the Security of IIoT and Industry 4.0. This position is mainly focused on developing auditable and explainable AI-powered security solutions for Critical Infrastructure. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience with HiL simulator. In addition, the candidate should have a track of research in Cybersecurity and AI. Priority would be given to candidates with publications in the Tier 1 journals in cybersecurity or AI.
Positions Details:

Applicants will have a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science

Salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 a year commensurate with experience.

The initial appointment would be for 1-year and can be extended for another year

Extended health coverage is provided
